Amoeba

Amoeba

Sam van der Hoeven

Mankind has forgotten the world he was made for.

When he broke the law of God and died, he became dull. Not fully lifeless in the strict biological sense, but dim towards the realities that matter. Like an amoeba squirming on a microscope slide, he does not even begin to fathom the depths of the reality in which he numbly exists.

And in his arrogance, he profusely denies this! He believes to have discovered the depths of the universe, to have perfectly modeled reality with numbers and equations. How has he forgotten that he is living within a mere slice of an infinite reality? Eternity is in his heart! How can he ignore it?

How great and total was the fall of man, and how just for God to constrain them so.
